Αβαροσλάβοι
Με το όνομα αυτό αναφέρονται από τους Βυζαντινούς χρονικογράφους οι πολεμικές ομάδες που εισέβαλαν τον 6ο αι. στη Βαλκανική και έφτασαν έως το Ταίναρο. Επικεφαλής ήταν οι Άβαροι, που τους ακολουθούσαν, με τη θέλησή τους, χιλιάδες Σλάβοι.
